The super thin, 305g Flare solar panel folds neatly away for easy packing in backpacks and bike luggage, allowing you to keep your devices charged in remote wilderness areas.

- Folds away to fit neatly inside rucksacks and bike luggage
We all enjoy living the simple life out in the wilds. But wed still like a few pictures of our trip, a fully charged phone for reassurance, maybe a GPX file for showing off... Weighing just 305g with 0.5mm thick panels (folded up), the Flare converts solar energy into charge for your gadgets via a USB socket.
The Flare will fully charge an iPhone in 1.5 hours in bright sunlight (or 4 hours when cloudy and 12 hours if overcast). With a USB port and 5V stabilized voltage, the Flare is compatible with most devices and can also be used with a power bank to store power for later. Auto-restart technology means the Flare powers on whenever there is sufficient sunlight to power it.
An 2.5mm ETFE coating protects the solar cells from damage and makes the Flare completely waterproof (with the exception of the USB port). Hanging loops and mini carabiners (included) allow you to attach the Flare to your tent, hammock or the top of your rucksack/pannier rack for optimum charging.
*The flare has no internal battery so it does not store charge internally.
